Burt Rezko

Project Engineer

Burt is a registered professional engineer with over 30 years of experience in planning, design and construction engineering of facilities and systems for the City of Chicago. In his previous role as a deputy commissioner with the Department of Water Management, he was responsible for oversight and management of the planning and implementation of the capital improvement program for the Department’s water main construction program, sewer main construction program and the facilities construction program. These programs totaled over $600 million dollars annually. Burt has a Master’s in Business Administration In the fields of finance and operations management from the University of Illinois at Chicago, and Bachelors of Science in electrical engineering from the University of Wisconsin Madison.

David Crowell

Project Manager

David leads DAC’s Project and Program Management for its urban high-rise developments. During his 40+ year career, he has been responsible for successful delivery of more than 150 major, high profile programs and projects totaling nearly 100 million square feet. He brings discipline to goal setting and decision-making throughout programming, pre-construction, procurement, and design phases. His work reflects a mastery of processes with high degrees of integrated technology, complexity and quality. A nationally and internationally recognized expert in high-rise buildings, Mr. Crowell has implemented design management, logistics and constructability efficiencies for this highly specialized building type in the United States, the Middle East and Europe. His notable work includes leading the design phase for The Shard – an icon in London’s revitalized London Bridge Quarter, the tallest building in Western Europe; and Jeddah Tower in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, which upon completion will be the world’s tallest building.

Adam Rezko

Developer

Adam oversees all aspects of DAC’s hospitality developments including sourcing acquisition opportunities, concept planning, entitlement, design, financing and managing relationships with DAC’s hospitality brand partners. Adam’s background includes real-estate, media and technology. Prior to joining DAC, he founded Yella, Inc, a technology company at the intersection of location technology and retail. At Yella, he managed product development, fundraising, operations, hiring and all aspects of the company’s business.
