Choudhry Muzaffar

CFO

Choudhry oversees firm and project level financing, capital raising and reporting efforts. Choudhry’s development experience consists of mixed-use schemes in Saudi Arabia, master plans in Qatar and Grocery Anchored retail and self-storage in the USA. Choudhry has over 20+ years of experience gained with multiple family offices, JLL, Qatar Diar and development firms. He holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of Illinois – Urbana and MS in Real Estate from Roosevelt University. Choudhry is a full member of the Urban Land Institute and member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.

Chanelle Rezko

Communication & Design

Chanelle specializes in brand development, communication and design at DAC Developments. She is responsible for facilitating content strategy, including design services, strategic marketing plans and building cross-platform digital media audience. She also spearheads DAC’s brand messaging with a focus on public relations, media relations and corporate partnerships.

Karin Crane

Accountant & Office Manager

Karin is responsible for keeping books for all of DAC’s development projects and office overhead.

Antoine Rezko

Developer

Antoine oversees the leasing and management operations of DAC’s self-managed multifamily developments. Antoine has over 10 years experience in project management, growth marketing, and operations management. Most recently he spent 8 years at Workiva, a publicly traded business data and reporting platform, where he undertook several roles from spearheading product launches, creating and deploying go-to-market strategies, and devising and presenting corporate strategy reports. Antoine managed Workiva’s SEC reporting process and joined the executive leadership team at the NYSE to ring the bell at their IPO.  Antoine has a BS in Business Administration from DePaul University, and an MBA from Concordia University’s John Molson School of Business in Montreal, Quebec.

Michael Sreenan

General Counsel

Michael ​assists DAC’s purchase and sale, construction, financing and leasing transactions as general counsel. He has over 35 years of experience in all phases of real estate transactions. He previously worked at a large downtown Chicago law firm, where he was a partner. He has also worked with real estate developers on commercial and residential real estate transactions as well as real estate litigation. Michael is a licensed attorney in the state of Illinois. He received his BS in Political Science and Economics from Northern Illinois University, and his JD from the University of Illinois College of Law.

Adam Rezko

Developer

Adam oversees all aspects of DAC’s hospitality developments including sourcing acquisition opportunities, concept planning, entitlement, design, financing and managing relationships with DAC’s hospitality brand partners. Adam’s background includes real-estate, media and technology. Prior to joining DAC, he founded Yella, Inc, a technology company at the intersection of location technology and retail. At Yella, he managed product development, fundraising, operations, hiring and all aspects of the company’s business.

Suheil Nammari

Project Engineer

Suheil manages the land planning and civil engineering aspect of DAC’s suburban projects. Suheil has extensive experience and a successful track record in the land development and civil engineering field. He served as President of his own consulting firm, with over 45 years of hands-on design experience in land development and public infrastructure. Previously, Suheil served also as a Town Engineer. Suheil’s experience and interaction with other professionals over the years has given him the ability to have a broad overview and insight. Over his career, he has represented numerous projects before zoning boards, plan commissions and other public forums. Suheil has developed a number of projects in the great Chicagoland Area, among them: DAC’s Uptown 500 project, Doubletree in Winfield (both as Engineer and a Partner), the Enclave in Lake County, IN (both as Engineer and Partner), Heritage Falls in Lowell, IN  (both as Engineer and Partner), Still Water in Crown Point, IN, and Havenwood in Cedar Lake, IN. Suheil has served for many years as Chair of the Urban Planning Division of ASCE, Illinois Section. He developed and ran the Career Day Seminars for many years for ASCE, Illinois Section.

Burt Rezko

Project Engineer

Burt is a registered professional engineer with over 30 years of experience in planning, design and construction engineering of facilities and systems for the City of Chicago. In his previous role as a deputy commissioner with the Department of Water Management, he was responsible for oversight and management of the planning and implementation of the capital improvement program for the Department’s water main construction program, sewer main construction program and the facilities construction program. These programs totaled over $600 million dollars annually. Burt has a Master’s in Business Administration In the fields of finance and operations management from the University of Illinois at Chicago, and Bachelors of Science in electrical engineering from the University of Wisconsin Madison.

Nick Canellis

Senior Construction Manager

Nick has 25 years of experience constructing high-profile, complex buildings throughout the Chicagoland area.  Nick brings technical knowledge and best practices to each project, along with a passion for achieving his client’s vision.  Known for his team leadership and problem-solving skills, Nick has delivered world class quality on his projects in the cultural and institutional markets, including the Art Institute’s Modern Wing and the University of Chicago’s Logan Arts Center.   Having spent over 20 years working for Turner Construction, one of the largest general contractors in the United States, Nick has led numerous projects through preconstruction, construction and closeout.  Working closely with owners and design teams, he has consistently exhibited a commitment to the highest possible quality of construction.  His extensive experience has made him well versed in cost estimating, permitting, scheduling, planning, procurement, and conducting feasibility and constructability studies.

Daniel Rezko

President

Daniel oversees all aspects of DAC’s developments, including land acquisition, financing, entitlement, design and land planning, construction, and ultimately leasing and management. Daniel has had a successful 12-year career in the real-estate industry. He started his career at Amos Financial, a family investment office, where he rose to become VP of Operations for a fund managing over $300 million in real estate and related holdings, with a focus on acquisition, redevelopment, and operation of turnaround real estate assets. Since leaving Amos Financial to start DAC, Danny has developed or is currently developing over $650 million in projects. Danny holds a BS in Business Administration where he graduated Cum Laude from the University of Illinois, and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

David Crowell

Senior Project Manager

David leads DAC’s Project and Program Management for its urban high-rise developments. During his 40+ year career, he has been responsible for successful delivery of more than 150 major, high profile programs and projects totaling nearly 100 million square feet. He brings discipline to goal setting and decision-making throughout programming, pre-construction, procurement, and design phases. His work reflects a mastery of processes with high degrees of integrated technology, complexity and quality. A nationally and internationally recognized expert in high-rise buildings, Mr. Crowell has implemented design management, logistics and constructability efficiencies for this highly specialized building type in the United States, the Middle East and Europe. His notable work includes leading the design phase for The Shard – an icon in London’s revitalized London Bridge Quarter, the tallest building in Western Europe; and Jeddah Tower in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, which upon completion will be the world’s tallest building.

Haitham Barham

Project Manager

Haitham’s responsibilities include managing the general contractor’s budget and timeline, and being the primary on-site contact for DAC’s suburban projects. He successfully delivered DAC’s 321-unit, $100 million Uptown 500 project in Wheeling, Illinois. Haitham’s prior experiences include Project Manager of a state-run power plant in Jordan, and other private and public international engineering projects. Haitham has a BS in Industrial Engineering from the University of Jordan, and a Masters in Engineering Management from the University of Wollongong in Dubai, UAE.

Frank Giardina

Project Manager & Investor Relations

Frank has a successful track record growing organizations within financial and operational functions. He has participated in the acquisition and management of over $150M of multi-family residential apartment communities in the Chicago MSA. Prior to his real estate career, he was part of a management team that led the implementation and modernization of healthcare technology systems across several state agencies in Illinois. Additionally, he worked at an Asset Management Firm with over $40 billion under management. Frank holds a BA in Economics from Yale University and an MBA in Finance from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.
