Uptown 500 fulfilled the Village of Wheeling’s longstanding plans to transform its downtown away from the old Restaurant Row on Milwaukee Ave to a new, mixed-use, transit oriented pedestrian friendly and vibrant neighborhood.

Completed in April 2020, the project was designed to create a vital and thriving village center, with 321 new, luxury studio, 1-bed and 2-bed apartments, and 12,500 sq ft of new retail space. The 6-story light-gauge steel framed building features a state-of-the-art amenity package, including a courtyard, swimming pool, sun deck, BBQ pavilion, game room, great room, multiple fitness rooms, and multiple business centers and party spaces. The architecture of the building uses natural materials such as brick, stone, and glass, with an emphasis on creating a dynamic streetscape highlighted by the project’s beautiful glass-enclosed sky bridge.
